Charging Stations Network
Instructions for using electric vehicle charging stations.
Identify the type of charging station you are about to use to learn about its use.
Type A
To charge a vehicle:
1. Open the charge port lid and charge port cap by pulling the switch located at the left of the steering wheel.
2. Hold the appropriate card in front of the scanner. This card is located in the glove box.
3. Unplug the connector from the charging station and plug it into the car’s outlet.
Warning: never force the connection!
4. Make sure the blue lights on the dashboard are lit. This indicated the vehicle is charging.
5. Lock the doors using your OPUS card when you are done.
To unplug a vehicle:
1. Remove the connector and plug it back into the charging station, making sure you lower the lever.
2. Close the charge port cap and lid.
Type B
To charge a vehicle:
1. Open the charge port lid and charge port cap by pulling the switch located at the left of the steering wheel.
2. Unplug the connector from the charging station and plug it into the car’s outlet.
Warning: never force the connection!
3. Hold the appropriate card in front of the scanner. This card is located in the glove box.
4. Make sure the blue lights on the dashboard are lit. This indicated the vehicle is charging.
5. Lock the doors using your OPUS card when you are done.
To unplug a vehicle:
1. Remove the connector and plug it back into the charging station.
2. Close the charge port cap and lid.
