The expansion of the FLEX service area to Longueuil clearly sparked enthusiasm! Many of you shared your excitement and eagerness to take advantage of this new area. The announcement, made with great fanfare last month in the presence of officials from both Longueuil and Montreal, marks an important step forward for mobility in the region.
As of now, FLEX vehicles are available in a new area, thanks to the valuable collaboration of the City of Longueuil!
The new zone is located in Vieux-Longueuil and is bordered by Joliette Street, Saint-Charles Street, Saint-Jacques Street, and Chemin du Coteau-Rouge
This change is already in effect (as of today, Wednesday, May 21).

New city, new rules !
The new rules are simple and largely the same as the basic guidelines already in place in Montreal:
- You won’t be allowed to end a FLEX trip in areas with parking restrictions—whether permanent or temporary—even if parking is currently permitted when you finish your trip.
The good news? It’s even simpler than in Montreal! The City of Longueuil doesn’t have a residential permit system or parking bans on street-cleaning days. That said, you’ll still need to pay attention to signs that indicate other types of restrictions.
Check out our updated Parking Guide in the FLEX (One-way trips) section—it’s been revamped just for the occasion.
Montreal, FLEX is also expanding !
The FLEX service area is also expanding further in the boroughs of LaSalle, Lachine, and Saint-Laurent! Take a look in the app to see the updated boundaries now.
As for Rivière-des-Prairies and Pointe-aux-Trembles, stay tuned — the FLEX service will also be growing there in the coming months.
