Service Disruption

Infrastructure work is underway to strengthen the stability of our systems. This work will involve a certain number of updates which will result in service disruptions. To minimize inconvenience, we have agreed with our suppliers to a monthly maintenance schedule.

The next maintenance operation will result in a service disruption of up 2 hours:

WEDNESDAY MAY 7TH FROM 

  11PM (EST) IN QUEBEC AND ONTARIO 

  9PM (MST) IN ALBERTA

  MIDNIGHT (AST) IN HALIFAX

  THURSDAY MAY 8TH FROM 

  4AM (UTC) IN PARIS

In these circumstances, we recommend that you plan your trips accordingly, and avoid starting or ending a trip during the maintenance period.

Impact on round-trip vehicles

Starting a trip in Quebec, Ontario (Toronto excluded), Alberta and Halifax : 

During the maintenance period, it will be possible to start a trip provided you have made your reservation at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the disruption and use a key fob (or equivalent) to access the vehicle. The mobile app will not be accessible during this time. 

Starting a trip in Toronto

During the maintenance period, it will be possible to start a trip provided you have made your reservation at least 30 minutes before 11pm. If you already made a reservation during this period, we recommend to move the start time to half an hour before the beginning of the disruption, or afterwards. The mobile app will not be accessible during this time.

Starting a trip in Paris

During the maintenance period, it will be possible to start a trip provided you have made your reservation at least 30 minutes before 4AM. You will only be able to open the vehicle with your Communauto Card. The mobile app will not be accessible during this time.

Ending a trip in all regions: 

During the maintenance period, it will not be possible to end a trip.

Impact on FLEX vehicles

Starting or ending a trip:

During the maintenance periodit will not be possible to start or end a trip.
