Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Fleet Support Agent is responsible for routine inspection, validation, and cleaning of our shared cars including service vehicles, and routine station maintenance and upkeep.
This position requires you to be outside up to 90% of the time and is based in Hamilton with travel required to Kitchener, Guelph, and London.
ROLE
1. Routine Cleaning of Vehicles
Completes interior and exterior detailing of all vehicles in the fleet as per cleaning schedule and standards set out
Maintains a record of car detailing and service visits
Inspects vehicles as scheduled to maintain standards such as decals, signage, electronics, and security systems
2. Station Maintenance
Assists with station maintenance and seasonal cleaning including snow removal, signage installation, as required
3. Fleet Support
Provides support as a member of the Fleet Services team including shuttling of vehicles to and from approved service locations for maintenance
Validation of damage and member reported issues
Office duties include logging fleet cleaning, maintenance, and vehicle visit/validation activities
Maintains good relations with fleet vendors including car dealership staff, mechanics, technicians, auto body repair shop, and parking vendors.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
G or G2 Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Similar experience on the road, in operations, or in a customer service department
Automotive knowledge including basic electronics & mechanical systems
ABILITIES
Experience working with vehicles including detailing and basic automotive knowledge
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision

CONDITIONS
Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm (some flexibility), may be required occasionally to work outside of regular hours
Salary: starting at $18.00 /hour
