SOME EXAMPLES TO SHOW HOW TRIP COSTS ARE CALCULATED
Unlike the Open and Open Plus plans, where you can simply refer to the rates chart to see the cost of a trip (see Our rates) our Value plans allow you to benefit from more than one set of rate options. The lowest rate will automatically apply to your trip.
Check out some examples below to see how the costs are calculated for trips of different lengths and distances.
If you are on a Value plan and you use a Round-trip vehicle, in addition to the basic rates of your plan (see Our rates) you also have access to:
- the Long Distance rate;
- rates available on the Open Plus plan which are more advantageous for a quick round-trip (trips where you drive a long distance in a short time).
Members on the Value Extra plan can also benefit from having a trip charged at the Workday rate.
