Go on a Summer Getaway starting at $24,95$/day
As of July 2, the low season Long Distance rate will be maintained on nearly 20% of the vehicles!
From July 2 to September 15, 2013, our Summer Getaway promotion will allow you to travel for less while enjoying summer to the fullest. During this period, the Long Distance rate will decrease from $29.95 /day (high season rate effective June 15 to September 15) to $24.95 /day on selected vehicles. Nearly 20% of vehicles at each of our locations (Montreal, Québec City, Gatineau, Sherbrooke) will be offered at this special rate. Therefore, the weekly rate for these vehicles will be of $154.69 instead of $185.69, a savings of nearly 17%.
Take advantage of this promotion now by searching for the vehicles marked with a sun in RÉSERVauto. You can also limit your choice to these vehicles by selecting the option FIND A CAR AT $24.95/DAY after having chosen “Long distance” in “Requested rate” (step 4). If no vehicles are offered, click on the “More stations” button to expand your selection.

It’s official! Communauto has launched its 100% electric one-way carsharing pilot project in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough. As a Communauto subscriber, you have access to this new service at no cost. Simply register your OPUS card in RÉSERVauto and make sure to read up on how the project works.
Don’t have an OPUS card? Simply get one at an STM service point and register it in RÉSERVauto.

EFFECTIVE JULY 1 / You must have an OPUS card or an RFID key to use a vehicle
For security reasons, you will not be informed if the reserved vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft device or not.
Starting this June, we have asked you to register the OPUS card number that you wish to use for identification in RÉSERVauto, if applicable (one card per user). If you do not have an OPUS card and you do not already have an RFID key, we will provide you with one upon request at no cost (a $20 replacement fee applies in case of loss). Let us know through the “Contact us online” form in RÉSERVauto to order an RFID key.
Our fleet is getting greener: 80 Prius C hybrids are being added this summer!
Last November, we informed you that you had access to two Prius C hybrids and that Communauto was looking to increase this type of vehicle, despite their limited availability for vehicle fleets.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we announce that 80 Prius C hybrids will be added to our fleet by early summer. These vehicles represent another way to achieve our mission of reducing the environmental impact of motorized transportation.
