The Echos remain at $27.95/day all summer
This summer, the peak season Long Distance rate remains at $27.95/day for all Echos! Other vehicle models are subject, as usual, to the applicable change from June 15th to September 15th, increasing the Long Distance rate from $27.95/day to $33.95/day.
To easily find an Echo at the Long Distance rate, check the option “Find an Echo at $27.95/day” in RESERVauto and a Toyota Echo will systematically be offered in the availability report if a vehicle of this model is available in the displayed station(s).
If no Toyota Echos are offered, click on the button MORE STATIONS to expand your selection.

Communauto’s summer tour: There’s electricity in the air!

It’s the perfect opportunity to ask all your questions and to discover all the benefits to carsharing with electric vehicles. Whether it is at a street fair, a public event or simply a local market, all reasons are good reasons to come meet Communauto’s street team and to let our electric vehicles surprise you.
Go to www.communauto.com/electric/ to know when Communauto’s street team will be near you and pre-register for a test drive with the electric vehicle. The process is easy and the test drive only takes 20 minutes!
New DUO auto+bus subscribers get a month of STM public transportation for free
Again this year, everyone who signs up to an annual STM subscription at regular fare gets the 12th month of their subscription for free, thanks to the Transport Québec campaign aiming to alleviate traffic congestion due to the many roadwork projects. This offer is also valid for Communauto members who decide to sign up to the DUO auto+bus (www.communauto.com/duo/stm_ENG.html) before September 4th 2012. In addition to getting the 12th month of their STM subscription for free, they will also have access to the advantages already offered with the DUO:
- Those who choose the non-member DUO auto+bus, by adding $5/month to their STM subscription, have access to Package C from Communauto without having to pay the $500 membership fee and the $39 of annual dues.
- Those who choose the member DUO auto+bus, by paying the membership fee of $500 (which is 100% refundable upon cancellation), save $3/month on their annual dues at Communauto.
Users who subscribed to the DUO after November 4th 2011 will automatically be signed up again this year. If their STM subscription is maintained for 11 consecutive months, the month of August 2013 will be free.
The most loyal customers, registered before November 4th 2011, will receive one month free in either September, October or November 2012, and will automatically pay the 2012 rates if they maintain their STM annual subscription in 2013, thanks to a special offer from Transport Québec. No subscription is required.
