Associate a note with your vehicle reservations in Réservauto

Have you always wanted to add a note or a personal comment to your Communauto reservations? It is now available for subscribers who have opted for the e-bill! In fact, you can now do so by using the “Note” field during the online reservation process, once you reach the screen “Are you certain that you wish to add this reservation?”. The information that you will write down will be associated to your reservation and will be included on your bill as well as in the field “List all reservations”.

Another benefit for being registered to the e-bill!

Choose your favorite stations in Réservauto

When you reserve a communauto online, you can now do an availability search based on the locations that you will have chosen. Reservauto already allowed you to search for stations based on your address, which until now was associated with the address on your account. Now, you can add locations that will allow you to do a search based on other pre-registered addresses, such as your work or your friends’ houses, in only a couple of clicks!

To add locations:
Connect to reservauto, and go to the “Personal information” page. Under the section My locations, click on the button Add. A map will appear on your screen in which you can enter the new location’s address.

To choose a new location during a reservation:
Once you are on the page Add a reservation, choose your location in the second drop down menu under “Sort order” (step 2). Once you have selected your location, stations in the vicinity will be searched.

This function will replace “My preferred stations”, and this is for the best! Your availability queries will always include all the stations in the vicinity, even the new ones that you might be unaware of.

It pays off to free-up a vehicle when you’re not using it

Starting October 1st, if you cancel a portion of a trip that has already begun, you will receive a 20% credit of the remaining hours normally billed. Cancellations before 9 AM will remain free of charge. However, hours already passed will be billable. This change will affect the clauses A1 c) and d) located in the appendix of the Rules and Regulations for the use of vehicles.

- Clause A1 c), fourth paragraph will be read as follows:
(A80): 80% of the cost of the cancelled part of any reservation cancelled or shortened after the start of the reservation period.

- Clause A1 d), fourth paragraph, will be read as follows:
(A80): for any reservation cancelled or shortened after the start of the reservation period, 80% of the cost of the cancelled part of the reservation, or 80% of the cost of the first day of the reservation period, whichever is less expensive.

Prepaying at the gas pump? Don’t forget to the cashier for a detailed receipt!

More and more gas stations allow or require prepaying at the gas pump. Unfortunately, the receipts issued are not always detailed and give no information as to the nature of the purchase. Therefore, in these cases, we ask that you always request the cashier to give a detailed receipt, containing the quantity and the type of gas purchased, and to attach it to your trip coupon.
