A25 Bridge: notice to our subscribers

The bridge of the A25 highway, between the 440 highway in Laval and Henri-Bourassa Boulevard in Montreal, will open its gates this Saturday 21st of May. If you use this bridge, the amount of the electronic toll will be billed to your Communauto account.

Crossing the bridge will cost $7.40 during peak hours or $6.80 during off-peak hours, an amount which includes a $5 administrative fee applied each passage by the bridge authority. Each vehicle will be identified through a photo recognizing its license plates the moment it passes under the gantry at the entrance of the bridge. This toll is administered in both directions, at all times.

Please note that crossing the bridge is free for pedestrians and cyclists who have their own lane, separate from cars!

Communauto: a mission focused on achieving an ideal for society – Participate in the debate!

In the current context, in which more and more economic players are becoming interested in self-service vehicles, we feel more than ever the need to know what the population thinks of Communauto's self-assigned mission. We have dealt with this topic in the recent editorial in Écho-mobile, entitled "The Competition Is Not What It Seems", and we relaunched the discussion on our website lautonomie.ca (see A mission focused on achieving an ideal for society) where you are able to share your opinion with us and debate online.

By reading what we have already written on the subject, you can learn about what motivates us and tell us what you think. By reading what others have written, you can learn more about their perceptions.

The future orientation of development at Communauto depends on the outcome of this reflection. This is why it is important for us to know your thoughts on the subject.

Express yourself: participate in the debate!

Communauto invites you to join the festivities at La rue Kitétonne, the international festival of street art that takes place on Masson Street, between 5th and 7th Avenue. Street artists, stilt-walkers, acrobats, clowns and puppeteers will be in attendance to offer us an extra-ordinary performance.

Organized by the company Toxique Trottoir, La rue Kitétonne is a unique event that defines its cultural programming by its interactions with the community. During the festival, it is first and foremost the citizens that will take to the street and share a positive experience through various projects of cultural meditation, breathtaking scenery and carnival games in which the unusual and the imaginary reinvent daily life. A not-to-be-missed event!
