Communauto Info

Take advantage of the introductory pricing for Train + Auto before March 15, 2011!

Have you already tried our brand-new Train + Auto rate? If you're planning a trip between Montreal and Quebec, or between Montreal and Ottawa, you can combine your Communauto reservation with your train ticket purchase, all at a specially discounted price via Réservauto!

Until March 15, 2011, the cost for 24 hours of Communauto and the purchase of a return ticket with VIA Rail is only:

  • $99 on the Montréal-Québec City line, or
  • $79 on the Montréal-Ottawa line.
(Kilometres are billed at a rate of 12¢ per kilometre driven, taxes additional).

Want to keep your communauto another day? Simply add $25 per 24 additional hours, up to a maximum of 72 hours.

Interested? Connect to Reservauto, and once at the page Add a reservation, reserve your vehicle while selecting "Train + Auto" from the drop-down menu of rates (step 4). You will be automatically redirected to Reservia, the online purchasing tool of VIA Rail, with special rates just for Communauto subscribers.

After the introductory period, the regular price will be: the current train ticket rate minus 10% plus $25 per 24 hour block in a communauto, up to a maximum of 72 hours, plus 12¢ per kilometre driven.
