Packages A, B, C and Le Lièvre

Subscription to a package is required. The annual dues (plus tax) must be paid each year in order to use the service. These dues, once paid, can not be refunded.

Members who subscribe to package A, B or C have access to Long Distance rates – daily rates which are often more economical for long trips than the Basic Rates. It’s important to keep this in mind when selecting your package. The Le Lièvre package does not include access to the Long Distance rates, but it does enable subscribers to make Network reservations with one of our rental partners. .

Package A is designed for people who need a car often and wish to minimize the cost of their trips. This package gives you exclusive access to our Workweek rate – 10 hours and 40 km for only $16.80.

NEW! For a quick trip, package A now allows you to automatically take advantage of the Le Lièvre rates if this option is more affordable. Moreover, a $1 reduction on the hourly rate of the Le Lièvre package (known as Le Lièvre Super) is offered to members of this package.

BASIC RATES vs LONG DISTANCE RATES

To determine the cost of a trip with a Communauto, simply calculate its cost at the basic rate of the package you have selected (see the Basic Rates table), then calculate it at our Long Distance rate. Whichever is lower is the actual cost of that trip.

With better rates than package C, package B also gives you the same rate per kilometre as package A when you drive more than 50 km during a trip. Ideal for vacations!

Package C is intended for those who want to minimize the cost of their annual dues while still taking advantage of our best hourly rates and our Long Distance rates. Our most popular package!

No membership fee
$39/year

The Le Lièvre package allows you to use our service without having to pay the refundable membership fee of $500. It also has the lowest rate per kilometre. An excellent option to get started! However, it does not give you access to our Long Distance rates, and its hourly rates are higher than those of packages A, B and C.

Certain users are granted the privilege of enjoying the Le Lièvre Super package (members, users registered to packages A and B, people eligible to a promotion, etc.). In this instance, subtract $1 off the indicated hourly rate.
