It's quite simple...
Register with Communauto, on line or in person
Once you have subscribed, reserve a car online (free of charge) or by phone ($0.75 per reservation, $1.50 in the evening).
Pick up the car at the station you selected; it’s self-service, which means there’s no need for the assistance of an agent.
Use the designated car, and at the end of your reservation, return it to the station where you picked it up.
Pay for the length of your reservation and the distance you traveled; a detailed invoice is sent to you at the end of each month.

Communauto pays all the costs related to the normal operation of the service: vehicle purchasing, financing, registration, insurance, repairs and maintenance, as well as all administrative costs… and even gas! No more surprise repair bills! Communauto takes care of everything!
