Unlike Auto-mobile trips charged per minute, the billing for trips made at the package A,B,C or Le Lièvre rate is per 15 minute increments at fixed times (00, 15, 30, 45). Here is an example of how dates/times at the start and end of a trip will be rounded in order to determine the price that you will actually be charged, always the most affordable between the Auto-mobile rate or your package:

EXEMPLE
You use a vehicle from 10:07 and 12:56.

This trip will be rounded as follows:

Start time : 10h
End time : 13h

Réservauto will compare the cost of a trip charged at the Auto-mobile rate for the time elapsed between 10 :07 et 12 :56 (169 minutes) and the cost of this same trip for a 3 hour period at your package’s rate.
Here is the outcome of this comparison if this trip was made on a Monday and for which you drove 15 km (tax not included):
Auto-mobile rate for 169 minutes = $ 36 (km included)

Communauto rate :
Package A : $5,10 (time) + $3,45 (km) = $8,55
Package B : $6,00 (time) + $4,80 (km) = $10,80
Package C : $6,90 (time) + $6,00 (km) = $12,90
Le Lièvre : $15,60 (time) + $2,40 (km) = $18,00

In this case, your package’s rate would always be billed.
